Design and Experimental Study on a New Horizontal Rotary Precision Seed Metering Device for Hybrid Rice

In order to meet the sowing demand of hybrid rice plug seedling, a horizontal rotary precision seed metering device was proposed. The key structure parameters were designed, kinematics analysis seed-filling process carried out, and main influencing factors seeding performance evaluation index determined. Taking motor speed, eccentric distance disk, layer thickness as test factors, taking qualification rate, repetition miss-seeding rate indexes, quadratic regression orthogonal rotation combination relationship between indexes approached by polynomial. On basis discussing influence on index, surrogate mathematical model established. value correlation degree p variables less than 0.01. Based model, response surface qualified established, data analyzed multiple analysis. rapid prediction rates under realized, optimum obtained follows: speed 165 r/min, an disk 22 mm, 28 98.55%, 1.45%, 0%. According best parameters, prototype 98.34%, 1.66%, experimental results in good agreement with theoretical analysis, indicating that can agronomic requirements rice. research could provide some reference for design industrialized seedlings.
